A symbolic wedding ceremony with views of the Jungfrau mountains
From the preparations at their hotel in Spiez, nestled on the shores of Lake Thun, the wedding party proceeded to the renowned Trinkhalle near Interlaken for their symbolic ceremony. This elegant Belle Époque venue, constructed in 1863, sits at the fringe of the “Kleine Rugen” forest, just minutes away from Interlaken. Initially utilized for administering whey and mineral water treatments, it was believed to offer relief for various ailments. Take a leisurely stroll along the circular path to the Trinkhalle and marvel at the breathtaking view of the majestic Jungfrau massif. This exquisite venue is available for private functions and events.

The evening celebrations of Henry & Suzy’s Belle Epoque wedding in Switzerland took place back at their hotel, where we had organized accommodation for the newly weds and all their guests, allowing them to dance the night away until the early morning hours.

We knew we wanted to get married in the Alps, and after visiting Switzerland it was the only place for us. It was so beautiful up in the mountains and the people of Switzerland were all so laid-back, welcoming and friendly. It’s like the hidden gem of Europe. The scenery is breathtaking with the views of the clear lakes and the mountain tops, and it’s so peaceful.
