One of the most important considerations for your wedding abroad, is to plan accommodation for yourselves and your guests well in advance. Keep in mind that the Bernese Oberland is a famous tourist destination and often booked out well ahead, specially if you have requirements as to the standard and location of your hotel – which will, for your wedding celebration, most likely be the case.

Often the hotel accommodating you and hosting your reception will be one and the same. This is specially the case if you have a large number of guests joining you. It can be a great asset to keep your celebration centrally located and stay within the boundary of your hotel.

Often we organize accommodation for the wedding couple and the immediate families. We can present fotos of different options, place reservations, settle prepayments and final invoices for you. But you certainly do have the option of booking an accommodation of your choice yourselves. Please communicate this issue openly to us in the beginning stages.

This task becomes a lot more challenging with a large number of guests. Often they will come from different countries, arrive and leave on different dates- and- as it is usually the case- be asked to pay for their own accommodation. It is a difficult task to coordinate all this and we are willing to take it on for you.

We will be able to negotiate better prices for you and your guests if as many as possible stay under one roof and settle for the same dates (group rates). Nevertheless there will always be people wishing to book their own place. This is not a problem, as it is not possible to accommodate everybody’s taste and needs. But it will be only beneficiary if you can put as many as possible in “one hat”…
